This is the agreement for a Hall & Ledger purchase. Paying for a product means you accept it. Posted October 5, 2026.

Who we are

Hall & Ledger is an independent publisher and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Knights of Columbus. A purchase is a license to use our files. It is not membership in any fraternal organization, and it is not an official publication.

The Columbian year you purchase

The Columbian year runs from July 1 through June 30. That is the same span as the fraternal year our templates are written around. Your purchase belongs to the Columbian year current on the day the payment succeeds. We count that day in UTC.

You receive the files we have stored for that year. If we fix a broken file during the year, a new download link sends the fixed file. A later Columbian year is a separate purchase. Buying this year does not include next year's edition.

How the files arrive

When Stripe marks the payment paid, we email a download link to the address you used at checkout. The same link is on the thank you page. Each link works for 14 days.

Getting the files again

You can ask for a fresh link through the end of the following Columbian year. A purchase in the 2026-2027 year can be recovered until June 30, 2028. Go to the download recovery page and enter the same email address. We send one message per product still inside that window.

After the recovery date we may delete that year's files. We do not promise to keep them longer.

What we keep

We store the email address, the product, the Columbian year, the file names, and the Stripe payment id. We do not store your card number. We do not receive anything you later type into the spreadsheets. Sample names in the files are fictional.

How you may use the files

One purchase covers one council, assembly, or auxiliary for its own internal use. You may edit and print the files for that group. You may not resell them, post them publicly, or share them with another group. A state license, sold by invoice, is the separate agreement for a whole jurisdiction.

Changes

We may update this page. You accept the wording posted here when your payment succeeds. We do not keep a separate copy of older wording, so read this page before you buy.

Refunds

Digital files cannot be returned. If a product is broken and we cannot fix it, we will refund you. Write through the contact page.
